My 5 Go-To Uniforms for Running Errands in Style
Let’s be honest—most of life isn’t glamorous events or perfect Instagram moments. It’s grocery runs, coffee pick-ups, post office lines, and quick pharmacy trips. And while I love comfort, I also like looking a little polished (because you never know who you’ll bump into!).
Here are my five easy “uniforms” I throw on when running errands. They’re quick, comfy, and always look put-together.
1. Leggings + Oversized Sweatshirt + White Sneakers
The ultimate lazy-day combo. Leggings feel like pajamas, but when I pair them with a slightly oversized sweatshirt and crisp sneakers, it looks intentional. I usually throw my hair into a bun and grab a big tote.

2. Straight-Leg Jeans + Striped Tee + Trench Coat
This one feels very “French girl” with minimal effort. A striped tee tucked into high-rise jeans, topped with a trench—it instantly looks stylish but not overdressed. Add loafers or ballet flats and you’re set.

3. Matching Sweat Set + Baseball Cap
On days I want absolute comfort but still look coordinated, I grab a matching sweat set. A baseball cap hides unwashed hair, and chunky sneakers keep it sporty. Honestly, this look makes errands feel like a coffee run in New York.

4. Midi Dress + Denim Jacket + Slip-On Shoes
When I want something feminine but easy, I go for a cotton midi dress with a denim jacket thrown over. Slip-ons or low-top sneakers make it perfect for walking around. It’s breezy and requires zero thought.

5. Bike Shorts + Oversized Button-Down + Slides
This has become my summer go-to. Bike shorts feel athletic but pairing them with a crisp oversized button-down makes it look elevated. I finish with simple slides and a crossbody bag.
